The Delphi and Littlerock Forester positions work in the Black Hills District and support the Department’s mission and goals by implementing ecologically sound forest management under the guidance of the State Lands Habitat Conservation Plan to meet the Agency’s Trust obligations. The Black Hills District contains approximately 100,000 acres of DNR Trust Lands within Grays Harbor and Thurston Counties, primarily in the Capitol State Forest near Olympia and the State Capital.

Duties
