Permanent seasonal positions with the US Forest Service.

These are 13/13 positions so guaranteed six months of work with longer being possible given funding and work need, up to 8 months a year. Although they are seasonal, these are permanent positions so they get all the benefits of being a permanent federal employee: healthcare, pension, matching retirement, etc.

Recreation will be hiring 2-4 people at the GS 5 level. The vacancy name for these positions is Forestry Aid/Technician. The duty station for the recreation jobs will be either Olympia, Quinault, or Quilcene, WA.
