Come be an apprentice at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area!
We are looking for someone to fill a position at Brandon Spring Group Center leading environmental education programs and helping with daily operations. If interested, there may be opportunity to cross-train and network with other departments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures for groups visiting the facility. Lead environmental education programs, assist on the serving line and in dish return, and help with basic facility maintenance projects.
- Care for residential animals.
- Assist at other facilities (campground, trails/OHV, nature station, homeplace) as needed.
- As part of the apprentice program, you will receive a $1000/month stipend and on-site housing can be provided. In addition, upon completion of 640 hours you may qualify for the Public Land Corps hiring certificate. Must have 4 year’s of college completed.
Preferred start date is Monday August 14, 2023 but willing to negotiate.
