Each year the City of Olympia’s Environmental Services team surveys and samples seven stream sites as part of its benthic index of biotic integrity (B-IBI) ambient water quality monitoring program.
We are looking for a few volunteers to join us in the field for one or more of the following sampling dates and locations. No experience is necessary, volunteers are provided with training and an opportunity to learn more about how Olympia uses this data to guide program, project, and policy decisions to improve water quality conditions.
