Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Major Environmental Document Manager to serve as the Olympic Region’s subject matter expert for National and State Environmental Policy Act (NEPA/SEPA) regulations and related policies.

They will provide support for the Environmental & Hydraulic Services (EHS) Office to design-build contract preparation and administration. The position is responsible for planning, leading, and directing project teams to ensure delivery of legally sufficient project environmental review documentation (NEPA Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements). This position supports the vision, mission, and values of WSDOT by ensuring that major transportation investments comply with National and State Environmental Policy Act requirements. Compliance is accomplished by preparing, managing, and reviewing large and complex environmental review documents such as Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements and related permits and approvals.
