Salary$16.07 – $19.49 per Hour

The Archeological Specialist will work with the Resources Department to conduct surveys for historic and prehistoric cultural resources and monitor for construction projects around the park. The successful applicant will properly gather, input, and analyze data using ESRI Collector/Field Maps, ArcGIS Online, and ArcPro. Specialist will additionally complete the ensuing paperwork including site and isolate records (DPR 523), monitoring and survey reports, and other reports and spreadsheets as necessary. The Specialist must be able to safely operate various 4WD vehicles and tools associated with the above tasks. Applicant must be able to work safely in high heat, desert environments, and remote conditions.
