Salary- $59,688.00 – $80,292.00 Annually

Two Support Analyst positions are currently available. Both positions provide a critical
communications link between the six DNR regions and the forest regulation division and associate-
level support to the Region-Operations Outreach Manager and Training Manager. Together these
positions promote cohesive statewide implementation of the Forest Practices Act. Rules, and board
manuals by helping staff, stakeholders, and landowners understand operational forest practices
permitting activities and their regulatory requirements. These positions serve as project
management consultants, forest practices data subject matter experts, and they research and
recommend processes and procedures to meet operational field and office business needs.
Individually, each of the two positions also emphasizes interactions between forest practices
permitting processes and regulatory enforcement activities associated with one of the following:
Position 1656: State and federally listed threatened and endangered flora and fauna
species, and those associated with archeological, historic, tribal and cultural resources.
Position 6535: Forest roads, hydraulics projects, and fish passage barriers.
