Mt. Tabor is a magnet for resident and early migrating songbirds in springtime. We’ll spend the morning surrounded by Song Sparrow, Spotted Towhee, and Dark Eyed Junco birdsong. We may even see colorful warblers, plus resident raptors and forest birds galore.

Distance: up to 2 miles

Trail Tread & Width: mostly paved, well-graded

Elevation Change: up to 200’

Pacing: Slow, frequent stops

Exposure: part shade

Public Transit: Tri-met #15 to 69th and Yamhill (.25 miles)

Meeting location: Main parking lot adjacent to the visitor’s center
