Salary- $44,740 – $58,158 per year
Duties
- Conducting measurements of rivers, streams, and springs.
- Sounding groundwater levies using either mechanical or electronic devices, maintaining stream gage stations.
- Determine water quality by measuring pH, electrical conductivity, after temperature, dissolved oxygen, and bacterial analysis.
- Quality control of field collection of water project data.
- Conduct major maintenance and servicing of various types of groundwater level recorders, water sampling devices, stream flow meters, and various types of data loggers.
- Produce written reports, instruction Memos and briefing papers.
- Determine applicable Federal and State water rights laws to research water right claims.
