Salary- $31,344.00 – $40,440.00 Annually
Our Natural Resource Worker,
- Maintains, repairs, and installs department roads, parking lots, trails, foot bridges, gates, and fences.
- Patrols wildlife area units to remove litter debris, tree-related hazards, and illegal dumping.
- Operates a variety of trucks, trailers, tractors and implements, small engine equipment, and hand tools.
- Manages and monitors the vegetation near parking lots, entrances, roads, trails, and fields.
- Conducts periodic maintenance and repair of small and large engine equipment, herbicide application equipment, and trailers.
- Cleans, repairs, constructs signboards and kiosks.
- Installs and removes seasonal signs.
- Reports potential safety hazards and illegal incidents to supervisor.
- Attends formal meetings.
- Reports vehicle mileage and purchases.
- Provides customer service.
- Attend trainings.
- Assists with all aspects of the pheasant release program including delivery, care, inventory, and distribution of pheasant-on-pheasant release sites.
