Salary- DOE
Responsibilities will include a combination of field and office related tasks including:
- Oversight of subcontractor drilling operations
- Soil or rock core logging during drilling
- Soil, groundwater, and air sampling in compliance with State and Federal standards
- Implementation of injection or other in-situ based remedial technologies
- Oversight of remedial system installations
- Aquifer testing
- In collaboration with senior scientists, evaluate data to support conceptual site models for environmental investigations, delineate the nature and extent of contamination, and modify and optimize post-remedy long-term-monitoring programs
- Assist with writing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
- Coordinating work schedules with subcontractors, including obtaining subcontractor quotes
- Health and safety stewardship and following safety procedures
- Work effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
