Salary- Hourly, between $25 and $30

Tasks and Responsibilities (some to be shared with the Program Director, Administrative Assistant, or consultants): 

Leadership

  • Long-range planning and organizational goal setting in coordination with Board and staff
  • Monitor organization’s alignment to mission and goals
  • Facilitate and support Board of Directors and committees

Fund Raising

  • Develop, lead, and oversee Fund Development, including an upcoming Capital Campaign
  • Support grant writing, including research, writing, and reporting
  • Supervise and conduct all fundraising programs and events (e.g. appeals, various events, individual contacts
  • Coordinate online book sale and book volunteers

Outreach & Marketing

  • Ensure the Stillwaters’ mission and brand are used consistently
  • Represent Stillwaters in the community
  • Coordinate outreach opportunities
  • Create various PR pieces, press releases, and presentations, along with online outreach
  • Lead regular email newsletter development and distribution
  • Respond to or re-route community inquiries

Financial Accounting

  • Manage and coordinate all accounting and bookkeeping (reports, payroll, taxes)
  • Create annual budget and budget reports, and supervise adherence to budget
  • Prepare financial reports monthly and annually for Board
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all appropriate taxes, fees, and legal requirements for a non-profit organization

Administration

  • Supervise office staff and ongoing volunteers
  • Facilitate and support Board of Directors and committees
  • Manage hiring of staff and lead staff planning
  • Recruit volunteers, including Board members
  • General office management including maintaining equipment, supplies, and facilities
  • Coordinate with pro bono attorneys re: any legal issues
  • Staff the Facilities Committee and coordinate all campus maintenance, improvements
