Salary- $23-$25/hr

The Institute for Applied Ecology seeks a full-time, temporary project coordinator in its Plant Materials program to assist with facilitating and coordinating two native seed partnerships in Western Oregon: one in the Willamette Valley and one on the coast. The Willamette Valley Native Plant Partnership was initiated in 2012 and the Coastal Native Seed Partnership is a new collaboration initiated in 2020. Both were established to increase the availability and affordability of genetically diverse and ecologically appropriate native plant materials for habitat restoration on a landscape scale through a coordinated approach, bringing together land managers, restorationists, and growers. Providing a stable marketplace for both growers and land managers is a key outcome. The Seed Partnership Coordinator will assist the IAE Plant Materials Program Director with day-to-day support of the partnerships, including working with a variety of land managers, restorationists, seed farmers and funders.
