Salary- $77,544.00 – $104,292.00 Annually

Required Qualifications: 

  • Proven advanced analytical skills to scope, analyze, implement, and automate GIS processes involving lines, routes, events, and tabular datasets.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Natural Resource Sciences, Forest Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Science, or Bachelor of Science in Geography or GIS.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience writing custom ArcGIS-based Python scripts or Model Builder that make use of linear referencing, event tables, conditional expressions, and many-to-many spatial/tabular relates.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance, and management of a linear referencing database.
  • Proven ArcGIS Online database management and development and maintenance of mobile GIS applications utilizing ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123.
  • Small amount of travel within Washington State is required.

Our ideal candidate will also have the qualifications listed below:

  • Four years’ experience in GIS environmental modeling analysis using linear data, LiDAR and raster-based datasets, and familiar with different ArcGIS Python objects.
  • At least one year of experience designing and creating GIS-related data reports and summaries using MS Access or MS Excel Pivot Tables.
  • At least one year of experience managing GIS projects.
  • Good understanding of road management and maintenance principles in forest or rural environments (hydraulics, pavement management, infrastructure inventory, and project management).
  • Knowledge of ERSI Roads and Highways, and Oracle ArcSDE geodatabases.
