Salary- $40,000-$50,000 annually

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Program Coordination (~70%). Working closely with Forth Program Managers, the Program Associate assists in facilitating programs that advance electric mobility.

●      Support ongoing project coordination in close collaboration with Program Managers

●      Support in the design and implementation of new projects that advance electric mobility

●      Assist in collecting data from programs and reporting on learnings

●      Communicate effectively with project partners and relevant stakeholders

Consumer Engagement (~20%). The Program Associate works with external stakeholders to help consumers better understand electric mobility options and their advantages. In addition to engaging with general consumers, the Program Associate assists with marketing efforts targeting specific key markets.

●      Provide electric mobility education to consumers at engagement and outreach events

●      Support awareness and engagement campaigns related to project work

●      Help to convene industry stakeholders and working groups to build collaborative support for electric mobility

●      Work closely with underserved communities to seek and identify ways to advance new mobility options for priority populations

Business Development (~10%). The Program Associate works with other staff to develop new project ideas and cultivate new sources of funding from governments, foundations, transportation companies, and other partners.

●      Help to draft proposals in collaboration with Forth’s business development team

●      Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and best practices

●      Communicate any updates or feedback from clients or partners to the Program Manager as needed

●      Other responsibilities as required

QUALIFICATIONS

 Required:

●      A passion for Forth’s mission and values

●      Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion and a desire to deepen your understanding of key concepts

●      Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, energy, or related field

●      Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skills, both written and verbal

●      Willingness and ability to travel nationally, occasionally overnight

Desirable:

●      Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

●      Working knowledge of electric vehicles and charging, car sharing and other shared mobility programs, electric school buses, or electrifying farm equipment

●      Existing relationships with relevant stakeholders (electric utilities, transportation agencies, charging companies, car companies, etc.)i

●      Demonstrated ability to manage multiple conflicting projects and meet deadlines while maintaining work-life balance

●      Strong project coordination and organizational skills

●      Experience working for a non-profit organization with a mission-driven staff and board

●      Ability to lift 35 pounds to assist with event set up

●      Valid driver’s license
