a)Assist in coordinating the work being done under the Scaling Up Mountain Ecosystem based Adaptation (EbA) project (Nepal, Peru, Uganda, Bhutan, Colombia, & Kenya). This would entail compiling progress reports and synthesizing info into one joint report.
• Must be a current student (pursuing at least Bachelors degree; Masters preferred) or have obtained a degree within the past 12 months
• Availability to report for regular business hours (9 AM–5 PM, Mon-Fri) to the IUCN Office in Washington DC, when the office re-opens in January 2022 • Affinity with the vision and mission of IUCN and a strong interest in nature conservation and sustainable development • Pursuing or holding a relevant university degree in a subject relevant to natural resources management, geography, international development, conservation science, environmental policy, etc. • Well-developed computer skills (Microsoft Office for Windows, Google Drive, e-mail) • Good organizational, administrative and reporting skills • Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of outputs • Highly motivated to learn and develop new skills, keen to bring in own ideas • A team player with a strong interest to work in an international environment • Ability to work in English is essential for this internship |
