We welcome back the wolf educators from WolfWays to further our understanding and share current information. This is a unique opportunity to get a glimpse into the lives of these beautiful and environmentally important animals. The program will include:

  • Wolf biology and behavior, covering info. about the physical characteristics of wolves

  • Wolf pack (family) dynamics

  • Stories that reveal the wolf’s intelligence and highly advanced social relationships. These are amazing stories taken from observations of wild wolves from wolf biologists in the field.

  • The role of the wolf in the ecosystem

  • Washington Wolves: the successes and challenges of wolf recovery

WolfWays is a science-based wolf education program sponsored by Oregon Wild and Wolf Haven International. Programs are available for Pre-K through 8th grade, as well as adults. Since being launched in the spring of 2014, over 10,000 young people and adults have been amazed by the story of this country’s legendary, and often misunderstood, endangered species. Presentations are available for northern Oregon and southern Washington.

This class is designed for adults and older children.
