Here at the North American Association for Environmental Education, our annual conference is less than a month away. Our 50th-anniversary Annual Conference and 18th Research Symposium begins October 4, 2021. The conference—held virtually—will celebrate the power of connection and the profound, restorative role of the natural world in our lives.

This is the perfect opportunity for your students to hear from environmental education leaders, learn from researchers, find inspiration from teachers, and connect with peers around the world. As we look back at the past fifty years and think ahead to the next fifty, it’s imperative that students help drive conversations around the important role of education in navigating interlinked environmental, social, cultural, and political systems.

Through a rich variety of workshops, symposia, traditional sessions, research panels, roundtable discussions, bright spots, and posters, students will encounter great opportunities for networking and growth.

We know that registration costs can be a barrier to student participation. That’s why we offer tiered pricing to all who need financial help—no questions asked. You and your students can register for the three-day conference for as little as $35 and the two-day research symposium for $30—including on-demand access to recordings of all sessions through April 2022.

Please share this email with your students, view our registration brochure, or use our toolkit to share about the conference and research symposium.
