About RVC

RVC strengthens the power of Black, Indigenous, and people of color  in order to create a more equitable society through capacity-building, leadership development, and operations support. We accomplish this through our core programs and services as well as through leading partnerships with community members and organizations of color. These members and organizations provide support services tailored to the strengths and needs of the communities they serve. For this reason, people of color are encouraged to apply to our job postings.

About the Fellowship Team

Our team is in a creative moment, exploring alternative structures and roles for our work. We’re moving to a flatter team structure with an emphasis, not on titles but lead and team responsibilities. We aim to move as a highly collaborative, peer supervised, and self-accountable team whose work is deeply rooted in RVC’s Four Leadership Principles. Through leadership development and capacity building, we center the experiences and agency of BIPOC communities to build a more vibrant, interconnected, and transformative sector.

If you’re excited about the possibilities of questioning and challenging “traditional” ideas of leadership development, we invite folks who want to build and be in active practice with us. If you are passionate about centering and building up communities of colors’ inherent worth and knowledge about leadership development, this team may be the one for you!
