The Farmland Protection Boards for Berkeley and Jefferson Counties in West Virginia seek an individual for a full-time staff position to support the program directors, land stewardship activities and data and records management. The individual will be expected to divide their time between these two agencies, which are 11 miles apart. These counties are fast-growing yet still predominantly rural and are located in the Eastern Panhandle of WV, which is close to Baltimore and Washington.  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency with the ESRI suite (ArcGIS Pro, Survey 123, and other applications – strongly preferred); proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and social media. 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is desirable. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid holidays and annual leave, participation in the WV state pension system, and health insurance.
