Job Summary:  The EI Operations Associate provides operational and strategic support across the Ecotrust Investments portfolio of projects and investments. This position assists the EI Team with investment and project-level data collection for calculating impact scoring and generating impact reports; community relationship management including maintaining listservs, scheduling multi-stakeholder meetings, connecting with investors, and engaging with current and potential real estate tenants and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities
(The activities listed below represent the core functions of this position.  A candidate will be assessed on their ability to successfully fulfill or quickly learn these functions.)

  • Assist and coordinate across the EI Team on collecting information for and drafting impact reports that articulate the social, environmental, economic, and financial outcomes of EI’s investment portfolio and project work.
  • Lead data collection for impact reporting across EI’s investment portfolio.
  • Use established EI frameworks and templates to draft scopes of work, manage project pipelines and new project intake forms, scoring potential tenants, projects, investments, and evaluate current portfolio holdings.
  • Assist in drafting project summaries, pitch decks, and case studies.
  • Maintain team documents and forms including presentation decks and leasing RFPs consistent with Ecotrust branding.
  • Maintain project listservs including tenant directories and partner/stakeholder groups.
  • Connect with partners to schedule meetings, and for feedback on written materials and permission to use names/photos/stories in reports, consistent with Ecotrust’s brand equity guidelines.
  • Support real estate asset management including new tenant RFPs, tenant and vendor engagement, and parking lot management.
  • Support investor relations including organizing events, and assembling and sending gift boxes.
  • Support Board and Advisory group meetings with note taking and document management.

  • 2+ years of operations or administrative experience.
  • Proficiency using G-Suite platform, Slack, Asana, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience managing projects while applying generally accepted project management principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally, via presentations, and in writing.
  • Active listener and demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a racially diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Ability to examine and reflect on one’s own racial/ethnic biases/prejudices and how that may impact one’s work.

Other Useful Qualifications

  • Familiarity with impact investing and investment portfolio management/reporting
  • Familiarity with real estate asset management and property management tools
  • Familiarity with fundraising (philanthropic and/or investment capital)
