YMCA Camp Colman is hiring for the Fall 2021 Outdoor Education season! Located on the Case Inlet in the South Puget Sound, Camp Colman offers experiential and environmental education programming to people of all ages and backgrounds in the greater Seattle area. We are seeking motivated individuals who are excited to work with people of all ages in a one-of-a-kind outdoor space.

This is a full time, seasonal position. Instructors plan and teach experiential education classes in forest ecology, marine science, outdoor living skills, and challenge education. Other job duties include: leading traditional camp activities such as archery, boating, arts and crafts; providing an excellent outdoor experience to all camp guests; and assisting with cleaning and general camp tasks as needed. Naturalists/instructors will work 5 days a week. You will also work at least two evenings per week running evening programs.

Camp staff enjoy many benefits during their season at Camp Colman. Staff are provided with room and board, a shared kitchen, meals at camp when programs are running, and food for staff housing. Staff are also welcome to use camp program areas such as the beach, boats, and climbing area when not in use for programming.
