This Friday, May 14 from 10-10:45 a.m.

When your pets get sick you take them to a vet. But how do wildlife managers and biologists identify and treat disease and sickness in wildlife?

A WDFW veterinarian will explain how they manage, monitor, and treat disease in wildlife and what you can do to help. We’ll also be taking a trip to a animal hospital and see how vets care for endangered Western pond turtles with shell disease.  Make sure to bring your career questions! Suitable for all ages, best for 6-12th grade students. Join us via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87459911198

Friday May 21 from 9-10:00 a.m.

Just in time for wildflower season, Wild Washington Live! will journey to Eastern Washington’s sagebrush sea.
