Mid-Columbia Fisheries (MCF) seeks two enthusiastic and experienced aquatic restoration professionals to fill Project Manager positions with our dynamic non-profit organization in south-central Washington State. Work will occur throughout the Yakima River Basin under the supervision of the Yakima Basin Program Director.

The positions will focus on developing and implementing on-the-ground salmon habitat projects in the Yakima River and its tributaries. Other duties may include managing assessments or data collection work, building community support for salmon recovery, and supporting bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus) recovery.

We anticipate hiring one position to work in the upper and mid Yakima Valley and one position to work in the mid and lower Yakima Valley. These positions are expected to begin in May or June 2021 and recruitment is open until filled. Both positions have a 90-day probationary period.

MCF offers a flexible work environment. Full-time work is available. MCF is also open to hiring the right candidate who prefers to work less than full time. MCF has an office in Ellensburg. Currently all of our year-round staff primarily work from home. We are open to discussions about work location with successful candidates. Successful candidates must reside in the Yakima Basin.
