What will you do?  

You will provide administrative and clerical support to the Partnership and Planning Program with an emphasis on the Federal Forest Restoration (FFR) program. You will be the administrative contact with other ODF programs and external partners.  You will maintain and coordinate the internal Share Point site for all federal grants administered by the Federal Initiatives Unit (FIU), the contracts and agreements executed through FFR, including project documents implementing the Good Neighbor Authority. You will track expenses against a project budget for FFR. In addition, you will provide internal and external communications products and provide support to the FIU team as needed on various aspects of grant administration.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Candidates whose demonstrate skills, abilities and/or experience in the following:

  • Two years of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist which included administrative support for a project, program, or operation. Administrative support includes those duties beyond clerical/secretarial such as: interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience. (One year of postsecondary education may be substituted for up to one year of the experience.)

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Self-starter who can bring high levels of production with minimal supervision.

  • Professional level experience with financial transaction auditing and budgets.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, or similar software.

  • Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, or other internet based programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of service, workforce diversity, equity and inclusion, team environment, and strong internal communication and alignment.
