Together, Existing Buildings and the Transportation sector account for 70 to 90 percent of greenhouse gas emissions in our cities. Learn how to reduce GHG emissions in both sectors at this 90-minute event starting at 9:30 am, Saturday, February 20th.

The People for Climate Action coalition is excited to host expert speakers in these two sectors: Chris Benedict, a leading NYC architect, and Alexandre Milovanoff, a University of Toronto researcher.

Ms. Benedict will explain how she used Passive House design principles to transform an occupied multi-story apartment complex into an energy efficient and all-electric model for the future. Dr. Milovanoff will share his research showing what other actions besides Electric Vehicles are needed in the Transportation sector to bring GHG emissions in line with the Paris Climate Accord.

There will be time for Q & A with both speakers. Admission is free.
