Firstly, we are opening an exhibit that showcases the entire process of our indigenous wool weaving style, which includes processing fibers, spinning wool, dyeing yarns, and weaving on a two-bar loom. Generally, a student maybe interested in any one of the four overarching areas that the September 2025-August 2026 exhibit will be up for. Specifically, we could consider the Botany of original materials, physics of the spindle whorl, chemistry of natural dyeing, and geometry of weaving. I am currently lifting up the natural dyeing as a area of concentration and would be keen to work with student(s) who are interested in our native natural dyes.
