In the Habitat Program at Thurston Conservation District, we are performing a large scale riparian restoration project involving planting native species and controlling invasive species across 38 acres. The property contains a stretch of salmon-bearing creek, as well as the Chehalis River.
A beaver relocation is going to occur at this site during the restoration. This is a key opportunity to examine the effects of beaver relocation on a large scale riparian restoration planting project.
