The Evergreen Art Lecture Series presents a broad range of interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary art issues by artists, writers, activists, and scholars who bring a diversity of practices from a variety of fields and areas of inquiry and creative production to our campus.  The series provides a lively forum for the exchange of ideas between speakers, students, faculty, and the public.

Week 2, 10/9     Rafael Soldi – Rafael Soldi is a Peruvian­-born, Seattle-based artist and curator.

Week 4, 10/23     Klara Glosova – Klara is a Czech born artist based in Seattle, a prolific multidisciplinary artist working in wide variety of media.

Week 6,  11/6    Austen  Brown – Austen Brown is an artist living in Chicago, IL: using a site-based practice, he works with sound, video, and installation to draw conceptual lines between sites, using buildings as evidence to investigate histories of urban planning.

Week 8, 11/20     Carol Rashawnna Williams – from Carol…”A large body of my work deals with environmentalism, PNW conifers, old growth trees, endangered animals and climate change.”
