Welcome! This site is maintained by the government relations office of The Evergreen State College to report on actions of the Washington State Legislature, which provides essential funding and establishes policies for the state’s higher education institutions.

The Evergreen Government Relations Director serves as the legislative officer and liaison for Evergreen with state and federal government. They advocate for Evergreen’s interests, working in partnership with the state’s five other baccalaureate institutions to give strong support for public higher education in Washington state.
