I hope y’all are having a swell time out there right now. Not a whole lot has been going on this week, so today’s morning announcements will likely be a bit brief.

As always, first order of business: have we found Sam? Still no clear sign of our beloved professor Sam Saltiel who has been missing since day one of the disaster. We have had a dedicated team of students out there searching for her and others lost to the fog. While there have been successes in some areas, there have been few in others. If the missing posters still appearing around campus are anything to come by, Sam still remains missing. If you somehow are able to receive this message from wherever you are right now Sam, I hope you are still with us. We eagerly await your return to campus.

Now onto the weather, as food here is still pretty abysmal and I would rather think about anything else right now. The sky is, of course, still red. Very red. Kind of looks like he’s got something going on there. And I am receiving steady reports from students across campus that the sun has begun to change in shape. At first I was like “there’s no way that’s happening, y’all are crazy.” but then I saw it for myself. Guys…the sun thing is no joke. Seriously. It’s starting to become some kind of weird football shape. Oblong, that’s a word right? Don’t know if I’ve ever had to use that one before. And in related news, as some of you already know, students are staring at the sky. Frequently people who have come into contact with the fog have taken to staring at the sky. I spoke a little bit about this in an earlier announcement of mine, but this phenomenon has grown worse since then. I don’t want to worry you folks. Don’t look at the sky. I repeat: DO NOT LOOK AT THE SKY.

Now onto the biggest update I have for y’all. In regards to the situation in Olympia, it’s worse than we originally thought. Factions have formed and boy do they not get along with one another. People in Olympia are in desperate need of supplies and we are most likely one of the only places that can provide them with anything. Normally the right thing to do would be to give them what they need, but some folks here are advising against it. “We are also frequently in short supply here. Don’t we need the resources to?” Some people argue. I’m at a loss as to what to say here y’all. Because of strong opposition to sharing our resources, things are at a standstill. The meetings in Evan’s Hall are more frequently ending in more and more arguments.

While I still have you here for a little while longer, some more brief comments. A growing theory regarding the fog claims its acting in an almost tide-like manner. No news on any specific pattern this may entail. The Search & Rescue Team should have the most up to date information in that area. And finally, rumors are also starting to spread of a possible structure appearing in the forest. The structure has only been spotted, not explored. People speculate as to the truth of its existence or whether it is a figment of fog addled minds. Hopefully we should have more information on this and the other topics of today’s announcements soon enough.

As always, thank you for tuning in while the radio is still kicking. Have a pleasant day, and remember, do not look at the sky!

Good Morning Evergreen! I hope y’all are having a swell time out there right now.
