Some people have gone out into the woods in search of food I’ve gone only a little ways in just to see what i can find at the edges but the plants aren’t the same, I can’t identify anything, including the trees. Through the fog at a distance they look the same but they now seem different: the leaf shapes, the bark it’s all different somehow. If i squint it’s the same forest i know and love but if i look at any part of it for to long its completely different. People have gotten lost trying to find food in the woods and some are talking of trying to make it to the beach. Before the fog I could have made it to the beach with my eyes closed, I might join to see if its even possible and maybe my time wandering around out there could be put to use.

May 5th-May 15th

I ran a survival and defense workshop this week and the effects have become obvious squirrel traps litter the campus now and every one now at least have a chance to fight a fight against the deer. We haven’t started hunting them yet but a few have died in people defending themselves. Obviously we ate them, they were more gamey than what I remember deer tasting like, but the only meat i’ve had to compare it to in the last 3 weeks is squirrel. I’ve also heard rumors that sam has been around? I’m hoping that their doing alright. In the mean time im going to continue making spears to and start organizing a monster defence team? Force? Idk ill workshop a name.

May 16th-June 1

I’m losing my ability to keep track of the dates. Im growing more scared by the day. the a group failed to navigate the fog and now it seems more “angry”. The radio is receiving weird messages, the fog is slowly moving more onto campus, and we still only eat squirrels. I don’t know how there are so many squirrels on this campus. Now all the “governing bodies” are saying to get to the farm. Also how did RAD survive the end times, it barely survived when everything was normal. They have a cooler logo now so that’s nice. The best thing that has happened this week is that we now drink berry juice some times.

June 2nd – June 9th

I went back in my journal and I can now confirm this is the fourth entry. This week has been nuts. I mentioned that I had my WFR and they asked me to join the medical bay. I’m no where as good as the actual doctor but i don’t need to be most people that come back from the fog are usually just dehydrated and hungry. Only real injuries I’ve seen are sprained ankles and memory loss. Both of which are easy enough to take care of. Recently though these fog people (I think that’s what they have been labeled) have been showing up. Theory aren’t people they are like copies of people they have all of someone’s memory but don’t have the skills that come with that memory. I usually sky a person from the fog if they are hungry if they say no ⅔ times its a fog person. They also usually cant write or read which is a good way to tell. They also don’t like the medicine we give to people for fog induced memory loss (FIML), they say it hurts and when i ask where dose it hurt they say they don’t know… either way they are harmless enough, doc says to just let them wander and hope that the people they are impersonating show up soon.

Diary entry number 5 i think

The med bay is going well. We have a meeting with the factions of olympia and idk what to expect all i know is that they are not as organized as we are. I’m nervous but optimistic of our future here. A new sense of normalcy has started to form around here, I cant tell how long it will last. No one has gotten lost in the fog for a few days and food isn’t much of a worry any more in some ways its starting to get more peaceful. I doubt it will last long with us getting involved with olympia.

Number 6 there is change in the air

Its been a moment since I’ve written in this. A lot has changed. Evergreen is running well, good food good medicine and now fog traversal is effortless. The amount of medics became less important with ems on campus. I’ve found myself with more free time. I still help out around campus cleaning and laboring on the farm. Ive also found myself working downtown a few times to help sooth over some of the disagreements between the groups. I’ve also been exploring down town quite a bit its interesting to see how the ocean has taken it. Other than the occasional deer or large crab things have become pretty peaceful.

Im hoping to get some backing from evergreen on this. Im tempted to attempt an expedition north. I have some research friends that are curios whats going on in the olympic national park now and honestly I am to. Im hoping that if we include making making contact with shelton evergreen will agree to giving us the resources necessary to check to make our way their. We are hoping to go by bike and make our way up 101 to shelton since we havent heard anything about whats going on there. After that we will split into two groups, one that continues north and another that heads back to report to evergreen. My group will continue to lake cushman and enter the park through the staircase camp grounds. We have no clue what we will find but we think that there is something worth the trip. Fingers crossed the counsel will green light it.

April 16th, The Day It Happened At work then is in classAt 8 event happensI would provide first aidFind girlfriend at libraryGo homeUn able to go homeCall parentsCell goes downGo to quinn’s apartmentSleepMorning go see how people are organizing.
