I feel ashamed of needing a reminder due to the fact that my grandfather was a migrant worker in the 1950-60&#8217;s and without his sacrifice I would not have the comfortable lifestyle that I once felt entitled to. I will be more active in the fight for justice&#8221;.<\/strong> -Evergreen Student Participant<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>&#8220;I learned that there is still a lot of work to do. Farmworker rights can be effectively supported by going directly to markets to tell them how they can stop supporting the poor conditions of farmworkers&#8221;.<\/strong> -Evergreen Student Participant<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>&#8220;Farmworker Justice Day was a powerful, eye-opening event. As I listened to the panel talk about their daily struggle and issues of injustice, I was heartbroken and compelled to support them in whatever ways possible. I appreciated their authenticity, vulnerable sharing, and heartfelt ask for support.
