\"\"I bought this sketchbook from one of my students, Marina, who had recycled the covers of an old cookbook, filling them with drawing paper.\u00a0 I used this as my field journal and sketchbook for Frederica Bowcutt\u2019s 2010 faculty institute botanizing on Mt. Rainier*, and again on a hike to view wildflowers in the Grand Valley area of the Olympic National Park.\u00a0 In between are 2 pages of notes from Caryn Cline\u2019s August 2010 Botanicalista direct animation workshop at the Northern in Olympia.<\/p>\n
