“I drew this picture as an expression of nurturing in nature. The mother and child are trusting to
each other, holding hands, and barefoot in the dirt. I find when my mind is chaotic, I can strip off the shoes and socks and step outside. Grounding myself physically into the earth really soothes my mind.”

Abstinence is the mainstay of treatment in Islamic medicine. Abstinence does not mean avoiding some foods for a long time. It means balanced eating in quantity and quality and avoiding the harmful foods and drinks that are banned in Islam.
