Apr. 5 in Sem 2 B1105 with a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Quiz on week 1 material<\/strong><\/span>.\n<ul>\n<li>For the quiz, review week 1 botany reading assignment, Botany Lecture 1 and Lecture 2 slides and your lecture notes, the Botany Lab 1 study questions, and Botany Worksheet 1 (key).<\/li>\n<li>There is also a reading assignment to prepare: <em>Biology of Plants<\/em> Ch 27.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Physics lecture starts at 1 pm Tue. Apr. 5 in Sem 2 B1107 with a <strong>Quiz on Week 1 material<\/strong> (note the non-standard physics lecture day\/time, due to Wednesday&#8217;s Day of Absence).\n<ul>\n<li>For the quiz, review week 1 physics reading assignment, your lecture notes, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/plantsinmotion\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/165\/2016\/04\/PhysicsLab01SizeOfCells.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Physics Lab 1<\/a><\/strong>, and especially <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/plantsinmotion\/physics-problem-set-1-available\/\" target=\"_blank\">Physics Problem Set#1<\/a><\/strong> (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/plantsinmotion\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/165\/_mediavault\/2016\/04\/PhysicsPS01solns.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">solutions<\/a><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>There is also a reading assignment to prepare: <em>College Physics<\/em>, Ch 25 (skip 25.7), Ch 26.4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Wed. Apr. 6 is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/multicultural\/day-of-absence-day-of-presence-details.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Day of Absence<\/a><\/strong>, with both on-campus and off-campus events. No class meeting. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/multicultural\/day-of-absence-day-of-presence-details.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Day of Presence<\/a><\/strong> is Fri. Apr. 8 &#8211; we will have our morning class meetings, but there are afternoon and evening events you might be interested in.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Due by 5 pm Wed. Apr. 6<\/strong><\/span>: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/plantsinmotion\/preliminary-project-ideas-are-due-by-5pm-wed-apr-6\/\" target=\"_blank\">Preliminary Project Ideas<\/a><\/strong> posted. Before class on Friday, look over the posted ideas to see any overlaps and start contacting each other to form groups.<\/li>\n<li>Lab begins at 9 am Thu. Apr. 7 in Lab 1 1040. Prepare for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.evergreen.edu\/plantsinmotion\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/165\/2016\/03\/PIM-Lab-1-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Botany Lab 2<\/a><\/strong> by reading handout, prepping Lab Notebook, and answering Study Questions. No need to prepare particularly for Physics Lab 2, but if you have a smart phone with a camera, bring it with you to class in order to build your smart phone microscope.<\/li>\n<li>Physics Workshop begins at 9 am Fri. Apr. 8 in Sem 2 B1107. Attempt all of Physics Problem Set#2 problems (available after Physics Lecture) before Physics Workshop; include in your Physics Problem Set Notebook.<\/li>\n<li>For the Weekly Wrap on Fri.
