Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need support of any kind. If you wish to talk via phone or in person send me an e-mail and I will get back to you right away. Be kind – stay safe.

Tuesday Recording Session in the Recital Hall.
Large groups please be set up, warmed up & ready to record by 10:00 a.m. – all others by times listed below . Once recording has begun, please do not enter the Recital Hall while doors are closed – there will be an opportunity to enter/leave in between recordings. Setting mics & levels can be time consuming so please be aware that you will need to be patient and flexible about this schedule. We are not recording tracks separately or planning multiple takes – please be warmed up and ready to record on the first take.
If I have missed anything or if you see a problem of any type, please do send an e-mail to me – gullicka@evergreen.edu

Those of you who are writing research papers rather than giving presentations. Please note that your papers are due at 10:00 a.m. this Thursday.
Please note that there was a typo on the originally posted reading scheduled for this week. Please read Chapters 18-24 (pages 135 – 181) in The Second Circle for this week and the remainder of the book for week 8. Chapters in The Political Force of Musical Beauty remain as originally posted. I apologize for any confusion.
Seminar prompt can be found here.

You are encouraged to bring your week 9 performance work to workshops both this week & next as we will be starting program run-throughs during week 8.
Please add this short essay by Yo-Yo Ma to your reading this week.

Please give some careful thought to your Independent Research focus.
Performance Workshop – apologies to those who were ready to perform last week and didn’t get to – if any of you wish to perform on Monday afternoon, rather than waiting until Thursday, please e-mail me (gullicka@evergreen.edu) and I will work you into Monday’s schedule
