Ly\u2019s work is concerned with the dualities, similarities, and tensions between care and labor. The work makes time for concerns related to setting affirmations, safe keeping, protection, and preparedness \u2013 while acknowledging variance, shifts, amenability and impermanence. They hold a bachelor\u2019s degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Art History and a certificate in Critical Visions from the University of Cincinnati\u2019s college of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). They are currently the Graphic Design and Photography Media Facilities Coordinator for Art &amp; Design at the University of Dayton.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">They have exhibited work both nationally and internationally. A selection of solo and two person exhibitions include <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Image Interference<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> at Basketshop Gallery &#8211; Cincinnati, OH, <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Support Systems <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">at SHAG (Stone House Art Gallery) &#8211; Charlotte, NC and <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">please remember this&#8230;<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> at The Neon Heater &#8211; Findlay, OH. Notable group exhibitions include <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Wild Frictions The Politics and Poetics of Interruption<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> at The Contemporary Arts Center Cincinnati, <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Auto\/\/Update<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> at the Carnegie Arts Center &#8211; Covington, KY, and <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">I Don\u2019t Know How To Respond To That<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\"> at the PhMuseum &#8211; Bologna, Italy.
