Bacteriophages 2015<\/a><\/p>\n

This event will discuss the many roles of bacteriophages, ranging from fundamental biological research to their use in medical and industrial biotechnologies. Topics will include uses of phages for therapeutics, food manufacture, delivery vectors, drivers of microbiota structure reporters of microbiome diversity, and their role on the environment<\/p>\n

The Deadline for abstract submissions for oral presentation is Oct 10th 2014
\nAbstracts for poster presentation only can be submitted up to two weeks before the event
\nThis meeting has an open oral and poster session. Abstracts can be submitted on any subject related to Bacteriophages<\/p>\n

\nAfter the great success of the 1st International hands-on course on phage biotechnology in 2013, we are pleased to announce the 2nd edition of this course that will be held in Braga, Portugal from 15-19 June 2015. This 5 days training period will consist on both theoretical and practical lessons covering topics from isolation and production of phages to proteomics and genomics, genome annotation and phage display.
\nThe course is directed to both PhD students and junior researchers who are starting in the phage field or to post-doctoral, senior researchers and industrial partners who want to improve their knowledge in the area.
