I have valued the interdisciplinary teaching, the ability to team teach with so many dedicated and socially conscious and student centered faculty. Most significant has been the opportunity to teach so many students who have attended Evergreen not primarily because it is training them  for a high paying career but rather because they want to understand better the major economic and social problems we are facing and what they can do as students and throughout their lives to further economic, racial, environmental and gender justice.
