Sem II-B 1107<\/strong><\/p>\n

Across the country, institutions are working with Guided Pathways frameworks to streamline student experiences and to better support students in the pursuit of their goals. As this valuable movement has swept the nation, many institutions are grappling with what Guided Pathways might look like locally, and particularly in relationship to other programs (whether existing or potential). Learning communities are an important and natural complement to the work of Guided Pathways, but we must be prepared to offer a compelling vision for that fit within our institutional conversations, develop trusting and collaborative relationships with our colleagues in instruction and student services, and work to develop policies and procedures that incorporate this work into larger institutional structures and initiatives over time. In this session, we will offer insights into how learning communities might work within Guided Pathways, suggest strategies for engaging the conversation at your institutions, and brainstorm additional ideas and strategies together.<\/p>\n
