Are you a great writer? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Have you ever been curious about how laws are made in the Washington Legislature? Every year during legislative sessions, the Washington State Legislature hosts\u00a0paid<\/u><\/b>\u00a0undergraduate\u00a0college interns from throughout the state to support the work happening in legislators\u2019 offices. These roles are open to all\u00a0juniors and seniors<\/u><\/b>\u00a0who want to immerse themselves in the work of the Legislature, even if they have not worked previously in politics or public service.\u00a0<\/span>The Legislative Internship will next take place from\u00a0January 5 to April 25, 2027<\/b>, with the option to participate only during winter quarter 2027, or during both winter and spring quarters 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Applications are open starting today, September 1<\/u><\/b>, and t<\/span>here are two deadlines:<\/span><\/p>\n

Priority deadline:<\/u>\u00a0October 21, 2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Final deadline:<\/u>\u00a0October 28, 2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
