We at the Native Arts + Cultures Foundation<\/a> believe that promoting and uplifting Native artistry and innovation requires crucial investment. The LIFT: Early Career Support for Native Artists<\/a> program boosts burgeoning artists making new contributions to how we understand Native pasts, presents, and futures. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019re passionate about supporting these artists, amplifying new voices, and broadening understandings of what Native art can be. Past recipients of this award have been dancers, ceramicists, weavers, theater-makers, and more\u2014demonstrating the true breadth of contemporary Indigenous art. The LIFT program goes beyond supporting individual artists as our awardees\u2019 works have substantial community impact, making waves in environmental, racial, and social justice movements.<\/p>\n
