Welcome to Winter Quarter from BLISS! We are back at it, and we’re excited to share a few upcoming events with you. If you are a staff or faculty and know any students who might be interested in any of these events, please pass it along!<\/p>\n
Any questions can be sent to\u00a0bliss@evergreen.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Wednesday January 15:\u00a0In\u00a0Transition<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Gather with other students exploring their gender for discussion, crafts, and camaraderie. The next meeting of this new group called\u00a0In\u00a0Transition\u00a0<\/em>will provide\u00a0a forum for trans, gender-diverse, gender-exploring and questioning students to build connections and explore thoughts and feelings on gender both verbally and through creative outlets. Feel free to bring a project, take part\u00a0in\u00a0provided crafts, or just come to meet new folks. This meeting is low-stakes and welcoming.\u00a0<\/p>\n We will be hosting In Transition from 4:30-5:30 every other Wednesday through Winter Quarter:<\/p>\n Week 2: January 15<\/em><\/p>\n Week 4: January 29<\/em><\/p>\n Week 6: February 12<\/em><\/p>\n Week 8: February 26<\/em><\/p>\n Week 10: March 12<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Next Meeting:\u00a0<\/strong>4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 15<\/p>\n Where:<\/strong>\u00a0The SEAL (CAB 310)<\/p>\n Racial and Ethnic Affinity Group Interest Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n BLISS and Student Activities are excited to announce the return of racial and ethnic identity-based affinity groups at Evergreen. The active group at this time is\u00a0La Familia<\/em>, which aims to uplift and center Latine voices and latinx issues through student solidarity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n We will be hosting interest meetings for 2 additional groups during Week 2:<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Black Student Union (BSU)<\/strong><\/p>\n Where are all the Black people at?<\/em><\/p>\n BSU’s purpose is to provide voice and community to members of the student body who identify as Black.\u00a0<\/p>\n When:<\/strong> Wednesday January 15 from 12-1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n Where:<\/strong> Flaming Eggplant (CAB 305)<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Association\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Create a supportive network for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander students to find community, exchange culture, and educate the campus on relevant issues.<\/p>\n When:<\/strong> Friday, January 17 from 1-2 p.m.<\/p>\n Where:<\/strong> SEAL (CAB 310)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Welcome to Winter Quarter from BLISS!
