More about this ceremony:

The ceremony will take place on June 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the House of Welcome.

By bringing together the Multicultural and Lavender Graduation ceremonies, we underscore the intersectionality of identities and the importance of solidarity across diverse communities. This event is an opportunity to showcase the strength that comes from embracing our differences and working together towards a more inclusive society.

Multicultural Graduation: At the Multicultural Graduation, we recognize the accomplishments of students from various cultural backgrounds, including those from underrepresented racial and ethnic communities. It’s a time to celebrate the resilience, perseverance, and cultural richness that each graduate brings to our campus. This ceremony is a moment for you to be celebrated and uplifted.

Lavender Graduation: Lavender Graduation is a special ceremony that celebrates the achievements of our LGBTQ+ students. It provides a supportive and affirming space for graduates, allies, and the broader LGBTQ+ community to come together and honor the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ individuals in academia. This ceremony is a chance to recognize the unique journeys and contributions of LGBTQ+ students.

We will be serving appetizers and refreshments after the ceremony.

If you register after June 5th your name may not appear in the program. Apply here!
