NWHeat is a collaboration between the Orbis Cascade Alliance and Northwest Academic Computing Consortium to provide webinars and resources focused on digital accessibility in higher education. This training is being presented by members of NWACC (the Northwest Academic Computing Consortium), a regional group of higher education institutions, including The Evergreen State College.

 Description: This webinar will focus on practical, faculty‑friendly approaches to digital accessibility. Tasha Biesinger, LMS Product Manager & Canvas Admin, Oregon State University and Justi Echeles, Course Development Manager & Accessibility Specialist, Oregon Health & Science University will emphasize thoughtful decision‑making strategies and realistic expectations for dealing with PDFs. Participants are invited to contribute ideas for creating accessible content.

  • Make informed decisions about PDFs and accessible materials
  • Discuss time constraints, realistic approaches, and options for creating accessible content
