Yellow Warblers breed in the Pacific Northwest and other northern states and migrate to California and other warmer states in the fall.\u00a0 They look for food (like insects such as midges, caterpillars, and wasps) along the slender branches of small trees.\u00a0 They like disturbed areas and backyards with small trees like the Vine Maple, Dogwoods or Willows.\u00a0 They also build their nests in these small trees.<\/p>\n
