Isakson\u2014a 2017 graduate of Evergreen\u2019s Master of Public Administration graduate program\u2014will serve as a communications partner and strategist for PNNL, particularly focused on amplifying the Lab\u2019s achievements in biology and in the environmental and molecular sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Linda has a background in both environmental science and communications. In addition to her Evergreen MPA, she has a bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental analysis and design and a master\u2019s in ecology with a focus on aquatic sciences. Before joining PNNL, Linda served the residents and leaders of Thurston County as a communications lead at Thurston County Public Works. Prior roles include environmental specialist with the City of Oceanside, California; water quality protection program manager with the City of Vista, California; and ecologist with Fairfax County Public Works.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cLinda Isakson is an energetic and accomplished communications leader,\u201d writes Michelle Ma, manager of the Lab\u2019s science communications group. \u201cHer domain familiarity will help her easily connect with PNNL\u2019s researchers and leaders and will inform impactful communications efforts to help us meet our business goals.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Linda has garnered several awards over the span of her career.
