We congratulate Jaylyn Suppah, MPA Student who is featured in the article, “Oregon Futures Lab Is Shaking Up the State’s Elected Leadership at Every Level,” By Gosia Wozniacka  3/8/2021 at 9:00am  Published in the March 2021 issue of Portland Monthly “A community educator and member of the Confederated Tribe of Warm Springs, Jaylyn Suppah is running for the Jefferson County School Board in a district where a third of the students are Native American. That’s the highest concentration in the state, yet there is only one Tribal board member. Suppah, a community planner for the Tribe’s health and human services branch, is also a traditional food gatherer.” (Oregon Futures Lab and its partners uplift leaders of color to enter public office and govern effectively.)
