We are pleased to announce our first MPA Tacoma cohort starting this Fall at the Evergreen Tacoma site, located in the notable Hilltop neighborhood.
We began offering MPA elective courses at the Evergreen Tacoma site starting last Fall. Starting this year, we are offering our Public & Nonprofit Administration and Public Policy concentration at the Tacoma site. Doreen Swetkis and Lianna Shepherd are the inaugural faculty team that will be for the Tacoma first-year learning community.
MPA Tacoma students come from a variety of backgrounds. Below are position titles of several incoming students:
- Veteran Services Specialist
- Management Analyst
- Legislative Analyst
- Project Manager
- Grant Manager
- Community Relations Director
- Services Program Manager
- Data Analyst
- Research Consultant
Community members who have a bachelor’s degree and are interested in any of our MPA electives are welcome to take classes at Evergreen’s Olympia campus or Tacoma site. Non-admitted students can register as a special student for elective courses. For more information, visit our Registration page.
